Church of the Brethren 300th Anniversary Celebration

In 1708 Alexander Mack and his group of seven followers began meeting in Schwarzenau, Germany. The eight believers were baptized in the Eder River in 1708, after traveling to America the group became known as the Church of the Brethren.

In 2008, the Church of the Brethren celebrates 300 years of worshiping Christ Peacefully, Simply, and Together.
